📄 Abstract(原文)
The 21st century is marked by unprecedented environmental challenges such as climate change, ecological degradation, and the rapid depletion of natural resources. In this scenario, redirecting economic growth towards environmentally responsible and sustainable pathways has become a global priority. The concept of Green Finance has emerged as a vital instrument in this transition. Traditionally, investments were evaluated primarily on the basis of financial returns; however, in the contemporary era, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria have become equally significant determinants in investment decisions. Green finance facilitates the flow of capital into renewable energy, clean industries, pollution control, waste management, water conservation, and biodiversity protection. This approach promotes economic progress while maintaining ecological balance. Governments across the world are actively supporting sustainable projects through innovative financial instruments such as Green Bonds, Carbon Credits, and Sustainable Investment Funds. In India too, several initiatives have been undertaken to develop a low-carbon economy consistent with international climate commitments. Moreover, green finance is closely associated not only with environmental protection but also with risk management and long-term financial stability. Climate-induced disasters, resource scarcity, and ecological risks threaten traditional business models. In response, clean energy and sustainable technologies are emerging as profitable and resilient alternatives, attracting global investors who increasingly prioritize ESG-compliant firms. The integration of digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and data analytics has further enhanced the transparency, accountability, and efficiency of green financial systems. These tools enable precise measurement of carbon footprints, assessment of environmental impacts, and evaluation of sustainable investment outcomes. Green finance represents a paradigm shift in global economic thought, redefining production, consumption, and growth patterns. By aligning environmental responsibility, economic prosperity, and social equity, this financial revolution is paving the way for a sustainable and inclusive global future.
