📄 Abstract(原文)
Kenya's energy transformation represents one of the most illustrative examples of renewable energy development in Africa. A distinctive feature of the Kenyan model is the significant role of geothermal resources, which account for approximately 45–47% of the country's electricity production. Unlike solar and wind power, which are characterized by variable generation, geothermal power plants are capable of providing a stable baseload, making geothermal energy a key component of Kenya's future low-carbon energy system. The objective of the study is to identify the strategic role of geothermal energy in Kenya's green transformation and develop an integrated model that combines geothermal, solar and wind generation, energy storage, smart grids, green hydrogen production and low-carbon industrial development. Methods of system, comparative, structural, and scenario analysis, as well as data from international and national energy organizations, were used. The author's Geothermal - Based concept is proposed. Green Energy Ecosystem, according to which geothermal energy is considered not as a separate source of renewable energy, but as the energy core of the emerging green economy.
