📄 Abstract（原文）
From slum to shopping centre, Nottingham’s Broad Marsh is an area of perpetualchange. This presentation will set out the trajectory of Nottingham’s Green Heart – anature-based solution implemented in 2024 on part of the wider Broad Marshredevelopment site. Themes of civic engagement, knowledge outsourcing and turnoverof political governance will be explored. As I am in the first year of my PhD, I will outlinethe methods I have undertaken to collect information from the community and how thishas informed the relationship building and participatory aspects of my research. Mymain aims and research question will be introduced and briefly discussed. I will reflectupon my findings to date through the lens of my literature review, which navigates broadthemes of wellbeing, sustainability, regeneration and biophilia. The presentation willdemonstrate how macro level theory can be applied to the micro level case study ofNottingham.
