📄 Abstract(原文)

The present study analyzes carbon credits as an instrument of environmental and economic valorization, with emphasis on the generation and rescue mechanisms applied in the Brazilian context, especially in the Amazon. The research is based on the growing global concern about climate change and the need to adopt mechanisms capable of reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Methodologically, it is a bibliographic and documentary research, of an exploratory and descriptive nature, developed through the analysis of scientific articles, legislation, institutional reports and official documents related to the carbon market. The results show that carbon credits represent an important tool for mitigating environmental impacts, while promoting economic opportunities, especially in the forestry and agricultural sectors. It was observed that mechanisms such as CDM and REDD+ contribute significantly to environmental conservation and income generation in sustainable projects. However, challenges related to regulation, monitoring, transparency and risks of greenwashing practices were identified. It is concluded that the strengthening of public policies and environmental governance is essential to increase the credibility and efficiency of the carbon market in Brazil, contributing to the achievement of the global climate goals established by the Paris Agreement.
