📄 Abstract(原文)

Purpose This viewpoint article presents a generalized action learning framework for human capital development within sustainable supply chain hyper automation contexts, applicable across organizations addressing UN SDG alignment and carbon neutrality objectives while building automation-ready capabilities. Design/methodology/approach The framework integrates sustainability frameworks (UN SDGs, Scope 1–3 emissions) with Industry 4.0 automation competencies through general observations of organizational practices and industry case analysis, creating a specialized action learning approach for dual transformation challenges. Findings Action learning frameworks can be enhanced with domain-specific sustainability metrics and automation readiness assessments to create targeted workforce capabilities. However, organizations need structured future-proofing mechanisms beyond generic continuous learning approaches. Research limitations/implications Limited integrated studies exist combining sustainability targets with automation competency development. Future research should examine sector-specific implementation across different automation maturity levels. Practical implications the framework supports employees through experiential development in carbon accounting, digital twin management, and autonomous system oversight while helping organizations achieve measurable sustainability targets and automation readiness. Originality/value This study contributes a generalized action learning framework integrating UN SDG compliance, carbon neutrality pathways, and Industry 4.0 competencies for human capital development, applicable to organizations navigating supply chain transformation during the contemporary period (2025–2035).
