English
This review surveys recent advances in MOF/dual-carbon composites, showing how graphene, activated carbon, and carbon nanotube-graphene frameworks overcome MOFs' poor conductivity and structural fragility. It covers four application areas: electrochemical energy storage, hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) electrocatalysis, carbon capture and conversion for climate mitigation, and environmental remediation. The authors outline prospects for multifunctional material platforms enabling circular carbon economies.

In the global GX context
Hydrogen and CCUS are central pillars of global decarbonization pathways and transition finance taxonomies (EU taxonomy, ISSB climate disclosures). This materials-level review informs the technological feasibility assumptions underlying corporate transition plans, though it does not address disclosure frameworks directly.

📄 Abstract(原文)
Metal–organic Frameworks (MOFs) and dual carbon materials have emerged as a pragmatic shift toward the next-generation sustainable technologies. MOFs are known for their highly ordered pores, large surface areas, and tunable properties. Yet their intrinsic electrical limitations and structural fragility restrict their large-scale application. Doping MOFs with conductive dual-carbon frameworks, such as graphene/activated carbon, carbon nanotube–graphene, offers synergistic improvements in charge transport, catalytic durability, and chemical stability, while carbon-based materials bring excellent conductivity, durability, and structural flexibility. This review delved into the recent advances in MOF/dual-carbon composites across four interplays, including electrochemical energy storage; electrocatalysis, specifically the hydrogen evolution reaction; carbon capture and conversion for climate mitigation; and more general catalytic and environmental remediation applications. The paper concludes by outlining prospects in which MOF/dual-carbon systems can go beyond traditional energy and environmental paradigms, opening the door to multifunctional material platforms and circular carbon economies for sustainable global growth.
