📄 Abstract(原文)
This chapter explores the potential role and implications of employing artificial intelligence (AI) to facilitate the transition from non-renewable energy sources to renewable energy technologies and systems. We propose hypotheses regarding the impacts of AI utilisation and outline strategies to address these effects, particularly concerning groups at risk from the consequences of energy transitions. In addition to a concise literature review, we utilise a Generative AI chatbot to play the role of a vulnerable community member, gathering feedback on proposed measures. We highlight the ramifications of the energy transition by clarifying its beneficial and detrimental effects on society, with a specific focus on vulnerable communities. By adopting an energy justice framework, generating reliable training datasets, considering community-focused mitigation strategies, and providing platforms for participatory decision-making, we recommend strategies to alleviate these impacts. While AI can enhance energy transitions for vulnerable communities, human involvement needs to safeguard social equity and empower active engagement in energy transition policymaking.
