本論文は、農業ビジネスにおけるバリューチェーン上流の排出量を測定するためのScope 3パフォーマンス指数を提案する。上流のカーボンプライシングや資源枯渇がコストを押し上げる一方、包括的なScope 3算定は規制・評判リスクの予見、調達・設計判断の指針、気候目標との整合を可能にする。これによりサプライネットワーク全体の脱炭素化、企業の信頼性向上、カーボンリーケージとグリーンウォッシングの抑制が期待される。

This paper proposes a Scope 3 performance index for measuring upstream value-chain emissions in agribusiness. While upstream carbon pricing and resource scarcity raise costs, comprehensive Scope 3 accounting helps firms anticipate regulatory and reputational risks, guide procurement and design, and align value chains with climate targets. This drives supply-network decarbonisation, strengthens credibility, and reduces carbon leakage and greenwashing risks.
