English

This paper examines how rising energy demand and climate change can be jointly addressed through solar, wind and nuclear energy, alongside new materials for storage and radionuclide management. Reviewing global policies, case studies and technology advances, it argues coordinated action is essential to accelerate the clean energy transition.

📝 gxceed 編集解説 — Why this matters

In the global GX context

Amid ISSB/TCFD-driven disclosure and national net-zero mandates, this review reinforces the policy-technology nexus of the energy transition. It offers a broad framing but little new empirical evidence for global disclosure scholarship.

📄 Abstract(原文)

The world is now facing two critical challenges: one is increasing energy demand, and the other is climate change. Both issues are interrelated. Policymakers need to think carefully about both issues so that a better policy can be followed for solving both problems. In this paper, different ways will be explored through which both issues can be addressed. These ways include the renewable energy resources such as solar and wind energy, along with nuclear energy. New material sciences technologies, such as new materials for energy storage, radionuclide management from nuclear power, and the ecological footprint of renewable energy infrastructure, will all be critically examined. This paper examines global policy efforts, case studies, and technological advancements to highlight the importance of coordinated actions in accelerating the transition to cleaner energy systems and effectively combating climate change.
