📄 Abstract(原文)
Abstract Material information traceability is a challenging issue for researchers, particularly in countries within the European Union. Typically, the common method for estimating CO 2 emission rates in construction projects relies on standards or Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). However, various reports indicate a wide range of CO 2 emissions associated with specific materials and processes, resulting in inconsistencies in emission data. In this article, we first systematically review the latest frameworks for material information traceability and compare their different aspects. As a potential solution, the Digital Product Passport (DPP) can be employed to integrate life cycle assessment (LCA) data with Building Information Modeling (BIM). This approach enhances the accuracy of traditional methods across all five stages of assessment: mining, transport, processing, usage, and recovery. Overall, this framework improves data quality for decarbonization efforts in the built environment.
