English
This dataset compares mechanical and transport properties of eight fly-ash concrete mixtures (0-30% cement replacement) under standard and steam curing. It estimates material-related carbon footprints, curing energy, and strength-normalized carbon intensities with sensitivity scenarios. 📄 Abstract(原文)
his dataset accompanies the research article entitled "Low-Carbon Precast Concrete: Quantifying the Ecological and Durability Restoration Capacity of Fly Ash Under Steam Curing." The study investigated the mechanical properties, transport-related characteristics, and estimated carbon footprints of concrete mixtures incorporating fly ash as a partial cement replacement under standard and accelerated steam curing conditions. Eight concrete mixtures were investigated, comprising two total binder contents (290 and 340 kg/m³) and four fly ash replacement levels (0%, 10%, 20%, and 30%), with a constant water-to-binder ratio of 0.50. The dataset includes: Compressive strength: 32 individual 28-day compressive-strength measurements, corresponding summary statistics, and reported 1-day strength values. Transport-related properties: Reported rapid chloride permeability test results, capillary water absorption coefficients, and maximum water penetration depths under pressure for standard- and steam-cured concrete. Mixture proportions: Cement, fly ash, aggregate, water, and superplasticizer contents. Environmental assessment: Estimated material-related carbon footprints, laboratory steam-curing energy consumption, strength-normalized carbon intensities, and sensitivity-analysis scenarios. Supporting documentation: A consolidated numerical results table and data-provenance information identifying the sources and interpretation of the reported measurements. Individual specimen-level observations are provided for 28-day compressive strength. The other experimental properties are presented as author-reported mixture-level results because complete, independently verifiable specimen-level measurements were not available for all tests. Consequently, uncertainty estimates are provided only where supported by the available experimental records. The environmental calculations constitute a screening-level carbon footprint assessment based on specified material emission factors and modelled curing-energy assumptions rather than directly measured electricity consumption. The dataset is intended to support the transparency, reproducibility of available analyses, and comparative evaluation of fly ash incorporation and steam curing in concrete production.
