📄 Abstract(原文)

Given the severe challenges of high carbon emissions and excessive resource consumption in the global construction industry, developing low-carbon building materials from local waste biomass has become an absolute imperative. Utilizing mycelium derived from litchi forests as the primary biological binder, this study successfully developed a novel mycelium-based composite brick by incorporating locally sourced raw materials, including rice straw chips, wood chips, corn cob chips, and laterite. Through a systematic mix-proportion design and comprehensive performance testing, this research thoroughly investigates how various combinations of agricultural waste influence the mechanical, thermal, and microstructural properties of the resulting bricks. Experimental results clearly demonstrate that the optimized mycelium composite brick exhibits substantial structural load-bearing capacity alongside excellent thermal insulation characteristics. Furthermore, its compressive strength successfully satisfies the stringent requirements for non-load-bearing wall applications. Beyond basic material characterization, this paper evaluates the practical implementation of these bricks in building envelope structures. By integrating life-cycle carbon emission accounting with an economic analysis of the local supply chain, the study confirms the material's outstanding carbon reduction benefits and significant cost competitiveness. Finally, strategic promotion pathways for this innovative material system are proposed, focusing on low-carbon-oriented design strategies and recycled-material circular economy models. Ultimately, this research provides vital theoretical support and practical references for advancing high-performance, low-carbon building materials utilizing regional biomass resources.
