📄 Abstract（原文）
The objective of this deliverable is to develop a systemic approach for supporting the sustainable implementation and upscaling of Nature-based Solutions (NbS) by addressing the financial, economic, socio-environmental, and institutional dimensions that influence their adoption. Building on a review of existing NbS approaches and financing mechanisms, the report aims to identify how the multiple benefits and ecosystem services generated by NbS can be assessed, valued, and linked to the stakeholders who benefit from them. In particular, the deliverable seeks to support the development of multi-sectoral and multi-scale business models that facilitate the mobilisation of public and private finance, the internalisation of NbS externalities, and the long-term maintenance of NbS interventions. To achieve this, the report proposes an iterative five-step framework covering landscape context characterisation, NbS co-design assessment, NbS impact evaluation, business model development, and monitoring and evaluation. The overall objective is to provide a practical and integrated basis for strengthening stakeholder participation and financing, overcoming barriers to NbS upscaling, and contributing to the transition from small-scale pilot initiatives towards sustainable and replicable NbS implementation in the Mediterranean region.
