📝 gxceed 編集解説 — Why this matters
日本のGX文脈において
日本ではGX推進法や資源循環政策が進む中、CEの障壁・推進要因の体系的整理は実務上有用。ただし本研究は国際的な文献を対象としており、日本の規制・市場特性を考慮した追加分析が求められる。
In the global GX context
This review offers a structured taxonomy of CE barriers and levers, relevant for global policy and corporate strategy. While not focused on any single region, its categories (e.g., regulatory, supply chain) align with frameworks like the EU Circular Economy Action Plan and ISSB disclosure topics on resource use.

📄 Abstract(原文)
Abstract. The requirement for the CE in the current global scenario of climate change, biodiversity, and natural resource depletion because of unsustainable production and consumption patterns is an imperative requirement. It is identified as a sustainable development strategy in the local setting of countries to deal with the problems of ecology, ensuring economic, social, and environmental sustainability. This systematic review seeks to thoroughly explore the barriers and drivers of CE by strictly following the PRISMA protocol. The search engine utilized was Scopus. A total of 93 articles were retrieved from the search engine within the set time period, that is, 2019-2025. After the search process, the articles were filtered based on the categories of business, management, and accounting, social sciences, economics, econometrics, and finance. A total of 21 articles were selected after the reading process. This assisted in identifying the barriers and drivers of CE, which are categorized into 7 groups of supply chain, regulatory, technological, organizational, economic, socio-cultural, and environmental dimensions. The results of this systematic review may be useful for the decision-making processes of governments and corporate leaders in adopting the CE strategy by leveraging the available drivers and overcoming the barriers.
