📄 Abstract(原文)

This chapter explores green energy and sustainable finance governance in Morocco, a country that has emerged as a leader in the renewable energy transition. It analyzes how institutional frameworks, financial instruments, and policy innovations have supported green power development. Drawing on institutional and socio-technical transition theories, it examines how formal rules and systemic innovations shape the energy landscape. It also assesses sustainable finance tools, focusing on green finance instruments and public-private partnerships. Empirical results show renewable energy progress is driven by institutional coordination, targeted investments, and corporate alignment with ESG principles, as shown by TAQA Morocco. This case shows how ESG practices integrate into corporate strategy, linking national goals with private sector action. Combining theoretical and empirical insights, it identifies key success factors, governance mechanisms, and challenges like grid and storage limitations. This chapter offers insights for policymakers and investors supporting a low-carbon future.
