📄 Abstract(原文)
Introduction: This article examines the role of renewable resources and wood-based materials provided by the forestry sector in green building applications within the scope of sustainable development goals. Material and method: This literature analysis will address the integration of the forestry sector into the green building value chain and the occupational safety and health (OSH) dimension in this process. Discussion and Conclusion: The study emphasizes the potential of wood, used as a green building material, to reduce the carbon footprint in the construction sector due to its low production energy, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), and biophilic properties. It also addresses modern wood construction technologies, the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) risks arising in new-generation green building construction processes, and how these risks can be managed from a multidisciplinary perspective. Consequently, it demonstrates how the synergy between forestry, green building, and OHS disciplines is critical to constructing healthier, safer, and more environmentally friendly buildings.
