📄 Abstract(原文)

Renewable energy transitions require not only technological innovation but also cross-sectoral coordination across industrial systems. This paper examines how renewable energy technology innovation policies in China reshape intersectoral linkages and contribute to broader transition dynamics. Drawing on daily sector-level data from 2010 to 2023, we employ a static-dynamic empirical framework to examine changes in intersectoral dependence and co-movement patterns around major renewable energy technology innovation policy announcements. The findings show that renewable energy innovation policies are associated with stronger cross-sectoral co-movements, particularly between renewable energy, materials, industrials, information technology, and utilities. However, linkage patterns vary substantially by policy type. Strategic emerging industry and industrial interconnection policies are associated with more pronounced and widespread changes in sectoral co-movement, whereas sector-specific policies are associated with more limited and localized responses. These results suggest that renewable energy innovation policies function not only as instruments of technological support but also as policy instruments associated with cross-sectoral linkage formation and industrial coordination.
