📝 gxceed 編集解説 — Why this matters
日本のGX文脈において
日本でも各都道府県が同様の炭素排出インベントリを作成しており、本論文の手法は地方自治体のカーボンフットプリント算定に参考となる。SSBJや有報でのScope1・2開示に地域別データを活用する際に有用。
In the global GX context
This subnational carbon footprint analysis provides a methodological template for local emission inventories, relevant to TCFD/ISSB disclosure requirements for Scope 1 and 2 emissions. While Turkey-specific, the approach can be adapted for regional climate action planning globally.

📄 Abstract(原文)
With increasing population and developing industry, terms such as "climate change," "carbon gas," and "carbon footprint" have entered our lives and are of environmental importance. Therefore, this study was conducted to analyze the carbon footprint sources of the city under study and to evaluate the measures that can be taken to create fewer emissions. Carbon emission sources were evaluated in 3 main groups: Direct emission sources, indirect emission sources from energy, and other indirect emission sources. The carbon footprint of Çankırı province is 1.320.034,376 tCO₂e, and the per capita carbon footprint was calculated to be approximately 6,61 tCO₂. It was observed that the most influential factors in carbon emissions in Çankırı province are diesel fuel, electricity, natural gas, and livestock. With the increasing population and developing industry, it is an undeniable fact that carbon emissions will increase day by day, and the necessary measures must be taken as soon as possible. Carbon emission reduction can be achieved through actions undertaken by industrial sectors, public institutions and organizations, municipal authorities, and individuals. To reduce the carbon footprint and reach the net-zero emission target, it is fundamentally necessary to shift towards sources that can create fewer emissions.
