English

A synthesis of 25 top-journal papers (2018–2025) building a three-dimensional framework of inclusive wealth accounting, directed technological change, and climate tipping-point risk. It finds sustainability's driver has shifted from exogenous policy constraints to endogenous green innovation, and that non-linear climate damages roughly triple the social cost of carbon. Policy effectiveness depends on a synergistic triad of carbon pricing, R&D subsidies, and financial regulation.

📝 gxceed 編集解説 — Why this matters

In the global GX context

Speaks directly to ISSB/TCFD-era debates on carbon pricing design and the SCC used in transition planning and scenario analysis. Its emphasis on endogenous green innovation and the pricing-subsidy-finance triad informs transition-finance and climate-policy architecture discussions globally.

📄 Abstract(原文)

In the third decade of the 21st century, Sustainable Development Economics (SDE) has undergone a paradigmatic shift from "debates on growth under resource constraints" to "endogenously driven transition modeling." This study systematically synthesizes 25 core papers published in top journals (e.g., Nature, Science, American Economic Review) between 2018 and 2025, constructing a three-dimensional analytical framework encompassing "inclusive wealth accounting—directed technological change—climate tipping point risks." Key findings reveal that: (1) the core driver of global sustainability has shifted from exogenous policy constraints to endogenous green innovation; (2) incorporating non-linear climate damage elevates the social cost of carbon (SCC) by nearly threefold compared to traditional models; (3) policy effectiveness hinges on a synergistic triad of "carbon pricing + R&D subsidies + financial regulation." This research provides a novel perspective for integrating fragmented theories in SDE and offers model support for global climate governance.
