​ With the accelerating evolution of globalization, profound shifts in the international landscape have intensified global governance deficits. The Global Governance Initiative proposed by China provides systematic concepts and action guidance for addressing global governance challenges. Among these, climate governance and energy transition have become focal points of global concern, with the climate and energy strategies of China and the United States playing pivotal roles in global climate governance. Framed by the Global Governance Initiative and adopting the perspective of building a new type of international relations, this paper analyzes the practical pathways of China and the United States in global climate governance and energy transition. It highlights the significance of the "consultative, co-constructive, and shared" global governance concept for the development of global governance systems and mechanisms, reflects the contemporary value of the Global Governance Initiative, demonstrates the efficacy and institutional strengths of China's participation in global governance, and contributes Chinese solutions for sharing with the world.
