English

A data-licensing and documentation release of TunCO2 Pro, an open tool for embodied-carbon accounting and low-carbon lining design in TBM tunnels. The concrete emission-factor database is bundled as least-squares sufficient statistics to respect ICE v3.0 redistribution terms, with record-level data available to licensed users. It compiles 236 records from 11 sources across 9 countries, with 79 passing tests.

📝 gxceed 編集解説 — Why this matters

In the global GX context

Construction and infrastructure are material Scope 3 categories under CSRD/ISSB, and embodied-carbon accounting for civil works remains less standardized than for buildings. This tool offers a transparent, licence-compliant methodology for tunnel linings, contributing to global efforts to extend disclosure infrastructure to heavy civil engineering.

📄 Abstract(原文)

Data-licensing and documentation release. Calculation results are unchanged from v0.2.0. Changes Concrete ECF database: the 100 ICE v3.0 records are no longer distributed record by record, as the ICE terms do not permit redistribution. Each ICE group is bundled as least-squares sufficient statistics (n and sums) in data/concrete_ecf_summary.csv. The concrete regression reproduces v0.2.0 exactly for any location and type filter (verified by tests/test_ecf_summary.py). Licensed data: users who hold an ICE licence can add record-level rows with load_library(ecf_extra=...) or the environment variable TUNCO2PRO_ECF_EXTRA. Data licences: data/DATA_LICENCES.md lists the source, licence and attribution of every bundled data file. README: sources of the concrete database (236 records from 11 sources in 9 countries); references for TBM performance and face support, settlement screening, and emission factors; a practice-oriented introduction. Tests 79 passed, 1 skipped. To cite, see CITATION.cff (concept DOI 10.5281/zenodo.23290499).
