English
This paper examines pathways for sustainable economic development in Uzbekistan through green innovation and technological modernisation. Solar and wind generation grew from 0.43 bn kWh in 2022 to over 10.5 bn kWh in 2025, reaching 19.4% of electricity output, while hydropower fell ~23%, highlighting climate risk. Meeting the 54% green-generation target by 2030 requires 29–31% annual growth; the authors propose recommendations on green finance, energy efficiency, industrial modernisation, R&D, and regional development.

📝 gxceed 編集解説 — Why this matters
In the global GX context
Adds emerging-market empirical evidence to the global energy-transition literature, relevant to transition finance and climate-risk disclosure debates under TCFD/ISSB. It illustrates how non-OECD economies quantify renewable targets and climate-related hydropower risk, informing investors assessing sovereign and corporate transition pathways.

📄 Abstract(原文)
The article examines directions for ensuring sustainable economic development in Uzbekistan based on green innovation and technological modernisation, using data from the Ministry of Energy and the National Statistics Committee. Solar and wind generation rose from 0.43 billion kWh in 2022 to more than 10.5 billion kWh in 2025, and the share of green generation reached 19.4% of total electricity output. At the same time, an estimated 23% decline in hydropower output highlights climate risks, and reaching the 54% target by 2030 requires green generation to grow by 29–31% annually. Evidence-based recommendations on green finance, energy efficiency, industrial modernisation, research and innovation, and regional development are proposed.
