📄 Abstract(原文)
As carbon regulation expands across China’s industrial sectors, offshore oil and gas operations must incorporate carbon constraints into production decisions to support low-carbon and cleaner production. However, conventional net present value (NPV) optimization often relies on static carbon estimates, with insufficient consideration of changes in emissions and carbon costs induced by production reallocation. This study develops a carbon-accounting and decision-support workflow that couples reservoir numerical simulation with surface equipment modeling. For each production strategy, the workflow evaluates production performance, equipment energy consumption, and carbon emissions, which are then incorporated into an NPV model that accounts for carbon policy instruments. A random-forest sensitivity analysis identifies oil price and production allocation as the two leading factors affecting NPV variability, with normalized importance scores of 48.0% and 24.2%, respectively. Optimization across 32 carbon policy scenarios shows that combining multiple incentive-based policies does not necessarily improve NPV and may reduce it by up to 13.35%. In contrast, a phased policy pathway sustains NPV growth while reducing CO 2 emission intensity by 11.1%. Beyond this specific case study, the framework is generalizable to other offshore fields through recalibration. The proposed workflow supports carbon-constrained production planning by linking reservoir performance, surface-equipment energy consumption, carbon accounting, and economic optimization. These findings provide practical decision support for offshore oilfield operators and policy implications for designing coordinated carbon-market instruments.
