This article examines the legal framework governing carbon credits in Vietnam. Through an assessment of both the existing legal regulations and their practical implementation, the study identifies several limitations in the mechanisms designed to ensure effective enforcement of carbon credit regulations in Vietnam. Based on an analysis of the legal provisions and their practical applications, the article proposes amendments and supplements to the current legal framework on carbon credits with a view to enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of law enforcement in this field and supporting the sustainable development of the carbon market in Vietnam.
