📄 Abstract（原文）
El Corredor Interoceánico del Istmo de Tehuantepec (CIIT) reúne condiciones energéticas y logísticas que podrían favorecer el desarrollo de una cadena regional de hidrógeno verde. El objetivo de este artículo es analizar el potencial, los avances y las restricciones del megaproyecto de producción de hidrógeno y amoníaco verde previsto en el Istmo de Tehuantepec. Se realizó una revisión documental de artículos, informes institucionales y fuentes publicas relacionadas con la producción de hidrógeno, la disponibilidad de recursos eólicos y solares, la infraestructura del CIIT y el proyecto promovido por Helax Istmo. La investigación muestra que la región dispone de recursos renovables abundantes y de una ubicación estratégica entre el océano pacífico y el océano atlántico, factores que pueden facilitar la producción, transformación, almacenamiento, transporte y exportación de hidrogeno y amoniaco verde. Sin embargo, su implementación enfrenta costos elevados de electricidad e infraestructura, requerimientos de seguridad, impactos ambientales, aceptación social y un marco regulatorio en consolidación. Se concluye que el proyecto representa una oportunidad a largo plazo para diversificar la matriz energética y fortalecer el desarrollo industrial de la región, no obstante, dependerá de una planeación integral y de mecanismos de participación social con condiciones técnicas, económicas, ambientales y normativas favorables.
