The current era faces pressing global challenges. Climate change and the pursuit of sustainable growth remain central concerns. This study explores the integration of green finance, digital finance, and sustainable development to address these issues effectively. Green finance directs investment towards environmentally friendly projects while aligning with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) objectives. It employs instruments such as green bonds, carbon markets, and green banking. Governments support this transition through disclosure standards, regulatory frameworks, and incentives. Despite progress, several challenges persist. These include the absence of uniform regulations, risks of greenwashing, limited data on long-term impacts, and uneven development across regions. Innovation offers potential solutions, particularly through the use of artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, and advanced transparency tools. Digital finance is reshaping financial systems by introducing mobile banking, fintech solutions, AI, and blockchain into daily economic activities. It enhances accessibility, efficiency, and inclusivity, enabling individuals in remote areas to conduct savings, payments, and borrowing through mobile technology. Fintech fosters innovation but also introduces new risks, including cyberattacks, fraud, and data breaches. Addressing these concerns requires stronger privacy safeguards, improved security measures, and robust regulatory oversight. Sustainable development seeks to balance economic growth, environmental protection, and social equity. The synergy between green and digital finance can accelerate progress towards these goals. Achieving this requires policy reforms, standardized data frameworks, consumer protection measures, and inclusive systems. However, challenges such as the digital divide and fragmented regulations remain significant barriers. This study emphasizes the concept of ―smart sustainability,‖ which combines technology, finance, and policy innovation. Through coordinated action, it is possible to confront global challenges and create a more equitable and environmentally resilient future.
