Abstract India’s green economy is growing with a crucial strategy for sustainable development, ensuring vision India @ 2047 while minimizing environmental degradation. Among one of the fastest growing economies, India faces the challenges of balancing rapid economic growth with ecological sustainability. This article explores key sectors for India’s green transition initiatives and policies, challenges and future prospects, supplement with data, case studies, and graphical analysis. The study highlights the role of renewable energy expansion, sustainable agriculture, circular economy models, and green transportation in reducing carbon footprints while fostering economic resilience. Additionally, it examines government policies, industry contributions, and the potential for green finance in accelerating India's transition to a low-carbon economy.
