📄 Abstract(原文)

This dataset supports the research study entitled Balancing Domestic Energy Access and Green Fuel Exports in Sub-Saharan Africa: Optimising Solar Electricity Allocation. The study investigates the allocation of solar photovoltaic electricity between domestic energy requirements and hydrogen production for green fuel synthesis, considering the balance between domestic energy access and potential green fuel exports. The analysis covers Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa using a geographically distributed optimisation framework. The dataset comprises input data used to parameterise the optimisation model, including solar irradiation data and electricity demand data, together with the corresponding numerical outputs generated by the optimisation model. The materials are intended to support the interpretation and verification of the study's findings concerning renewable electricity allocation and the production of green fuels. The dataset is organised to distinguish the model inputs from the resulting optimisation outputs. Where applicable, geographical identifiers are retained to facilitate location-specific analysis across the study countries. The deposited materials support research transparency, reproducibility and further investigation into solar electricity allocation, green hydrogen production and green fuel supply chains in Sub-Saharan Africa.
