The rapid growth in global energy demand, environmental concerns, and depletion of conventional energy resources have accelerated the transition toward renewable and sustainable energy systems. Renewable energy integration has emerged as one of the most significant research areas in modern engineering due to its vital role in reducing carbon emissions, improving energy security, and supporting sustainable development goals. The integration of renewable energy resources into existing power systems requires advanced technologies, intelligent control strategies, efficient energy management, and innovative research approaches. This book, Modern Research in Renewable Energy Integration, has been developed to provide students, researchers, academicians, and industry professionals with comprehensive knowledge of modern renewable energy technologies and their integration into contemporary power systems. The book presents both fundamental concepts and advanced research perspectives related to solar energy systems, wind energy conversion, smart grids, distributed generation, energy storage technologies, hybrid renewable systems, and emerging intelligent energy management techniques.
