As industrial processes increasingly adopt electrification technologies to support the energy transition, understanding and managing the associated process safety challenges is becoming increasingly important. This webinar will bring together researchers and industry experts to discuss key safety considerations, practical experiences, and emerging approaches to safe industrial electrification. A featured topic will be the safety implications of using electrical heating in reactors. The webinar will highlight ongoing project activities in this area while providing additional perspectives from industry professionals on opportunities, challenges, and best practices.
