English
This study analyzes the impact of trade liberalization and green supply chains on economic growth and energy transition using Chinese data. Combining regression and qualitative analysis, it finds a weak negative correlation between trade liberalization and growth, while green supply chains significantly affect sustainability and performance. Carbon taxes and renewable energy incentives accelerate the shift from fossil fuels, highlighting the need for integrated policy approaches.

📄 Abstract(原文)
As a part of an increasingly dynamic world economy, sustainable development is now governments, policymakers', and businesses' prime agenda. The task of sustaining economic growth as well as protecting the environment has resulted in more attention being given to matters like liberalizing trade, green value chains, and policy interventions, all of which have a critical role to play in deciding the destiny of energy transitions and economic growth. This study primarily focuses on the data collected from China, analyzing the impact of trade liberalization and green supply chains on economic growth and energy transitions. It is concerned with determining the interdependence and interconnection among these variables and the extent to which policy interventions contribute towards increasing sustainable activity and economic performance. The planned work utilizes a mixed-methods research strategy through the integration of quantitative regression analysis with qualitative thematic analysis to evaluate industry captains' data, policymakers' and experts' data to examine data for important variables like trade liberalization, green supply chain (GSC) uptake, and policy intervention to draw meaningful inferences on their collective influence on economic growth and energy transitions. The findings reveal a negative weak but significant relationship of trade liberalization with economic growth (R = 0.138, R 2 = 0.019), while green supply chain effect on economic performance and sustainability dimensions was significant. Carbon tax and encouragement of renewable energy were found to speed up shift from fossil fuel to renewable energy. This underscores the importance of having an integrated policy approach in driving economic growth as well as clean energy transition.
