This report was developed as part of a three-week training at the Energy Modelling Platform – Global (EMP-G) 2026, organised and delivered by Climate Compatible Growth (CCG), the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), the World Bank Group, and Sustainable Energy for All, together with Kartoza, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, the World Resources Institute, the OpTIMUS Community, the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), the 2050 Pathways Platform, and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). I gratefully acknowledge the EMP-G trainers and facilitators, especially Dr. Leigh Martindale for his guidance throughout the programme, and my institution, the University of Energy and Natural Resources, Ghana, for supporting my participation.
