📄 Abstract(原文)
Under carbon taxation, firms’ abatement behavior is shaped by cost pressures, the information environment, and risk preferences. Yet most existing studies focus on single supply chains, with limited attention to how information asymmetry and risk aversion jointly affect manufacturers’ abatement and pricing under horizontal competition. To fill this gap, this paper models two competing supply chains under carbon taxation and technology spillovers, using a mean-variance Stackelberg game to derive equilibria under centralized and decentralized decision-making, with and without information sharing. Results show that risk aversion induces a defensive “high pricing, low abatement” strategy—most pronounced without information sharing and nearly eliminated under information sharing, suggesting that abatement transparency substitutes for risk tolerance. Beyond a threshold, the tax suppresses investment and exhibits an inverted-U relationship; spillover effects depend critically on the information environment. These findings assist firms in choosing between integration and sharing, and inform policymakers in tailoring carbon taxes to industry information transparency.
