📄 Abstract(原文)
Based on the results of the Maximum Net Benefits scenario, it is recommended that Mozambique adopt a gradual and differentiated strategy for the transition to clean cooking, combining short-, medium- and long-term solutions. In the short term, priority should be given to the roll-out of improved charcoal stoves (ICS), whilst promoting the expansion of LPG in urban and peri-urban areas. At the same time, it is recommended to accelerate access to electric cooking, in conjunction with the expansion of the grid and mini-grids, and to encourage biogas solutions in areas with agricultural potential. The implementation of these measures should be supported by financing mechanisms and incentives, policies tailored to households’ socio-economic profiles, and awareness-raising campaigns on the economic, environmental and health benefits. These actions should be integrated into Mozambique’s Energy Compact and Energy Transition Strategy, contributing to the achievement of national targets for energy access, emissions reduction and improving the population’s quality of life.
