本研究は、デジタル経済が都市の炭素排出削減に与える効果を、グリーンファイナンスとグリーン技術進歩の相互作用に着目して分析した。中国の都市パネルデータを用いた実証分析の結果、デジタル経済は直接的に炭素削減に寄与するだけでなく、グリーンファイナンスと技術進歩を促進することで間接的にも効果を発揮することが明らかになった。これらの発見は、気候変動対策におけるデジタル経済と金融政策の連携の重要性を示唆している。

This study examines the impact of the digital economy on urban carbon mitigation, focusing on the interplay of green finance and green technological advancement. Using Chinese city-level data, it finds that the digital economy reduces carbon emissions directly and also indirectly by promoting green finance and green technology. The results highlight the synergies between digital economic development and climate finance policies.
