English
Supplementary data and code for a study testing whether project-level carbon credit claims align with host-country ecological benchmarks across 79 blue-economy projects in 31 countries. It examines whether CCB Standards participation distinguishes projects by marine species richness and models portfolio value under assumed certification premiums. Country-level indicators are contextual benchmarks, not project-level measurements.

📝 gxceed 編集解説 — Why this matters
日本のGX文脈において
炭素クレジットの品質・追加性と生物多様性の同時評価は、日本のJ-クレジット制度やネイチャーポジティブ開示(TNFD対応)を進める企業・投資家にとって実務的示唆が大きい。
In the global GX context
Speaks directly to global debates on carbon credit integrity and the emerging nature-biodiversity disclosure agenda (TNFD, ISSB nature work), showing where carbon claims and biodiversity signals diverge across scales.

📄 Abstract(原文)
This repository contains supplementary data, analytical outputs, and code supporting the manuscript “Do Carbon Claims and Biodiversity Signals Align Across Scales in the Blue Bioeconomy?”The research examines how project-level carbon credit claims and certification information relate to host-country ecological benchmarks. It compares annual credit claims with estimated carbon removal capacity in coastal habitats, evaluates whether participation in the Climate, Community & Biodiversity (CCB) Standards distinguishes projects according to host-country marine species richness, and examines the distribution of incremental portfolio value under assumed certification premiums. The repository includes harmonized project data and variable definitions; country-level ecological and socioeconomic inputs; OBIS species checklists and biodiversity indicators; statistical model outputs; portfolio valuation and sensitivity results; selected documentary evidence from certification records; and supporting analysis code, logs, and methodological decisions. The main analytical sample comprises 79 projects across 31 countries. The CCB analysis uses 78 projects across 30 countries. Some supplementary files include additional observations used in sensitivity analyses.File identifiers distinguish source and processed data (SD), analytical outputs (SA), and methodological and reproducibility materials (SM). DEPOSIT_MANIFEST.csv records file sizes and SHA-256 checksums for the deposited payload. Third-party source reports that are not redistributed in this repository are identified in the accompanying documentation.Country-level ecological indicators provide contextual benchmarks and should not be interpreted as direct measurements of project-level ecological performance. Assumed certification premiums are valuation scenarios rather than observed market price effects. Empty species checklists indicate an absence of retrieved records in the archived extraction and do not establish an absence of biodiversity.
