📄 Abstract(原文)

Amidst the global urgency to tackle climate change, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is emerging as a regional pioneer by integrating innovative solutions such as green hydrogen into its energy strategy. This chapter examines the legal frameworks supporting climate change mitigation and adaptation in the UAE, analyzing statutes, regulations, and policy documents to evaluate strengths, weaknesses, and alignment with international best practices. Findings reveal a robust system promoting mitigation, adaptation, and resilience, yet gaps remain in enforcement, stakeholder engagement, and harmonization with evolving global agreements. Addressing these gaps is essential to ensure responsible green hydrogen development, protect consumer interests, and advance a low-carbon, climate-resilient future.
