📝 gxceed 編集解説 — Why this matters

In the global GX context

Central banks and supervisors are increasingly central to the global disclosure architecture, and this volume captures how the NGFS and academic partners frame climate risk, data gaps and transition finance—directly relevant to TCFD/ISSB implementation and prudential climate risk work worldwide.

📄 Abstract(原文)

The implications of climate change and the transition to a low-carbon economy extend to the economy and the financial system, making them increasingly relevant issues for central banks and supervisors. Their complexity makes the exchange of knowledge and experience among experts, academics and central bankers particularly important. Such dialogue helps enrich analysis and advance our understanding and management of risks that continue to pose significant analytical and data-related challenges. With the aim of fostering this exchange, on 25 March 2026, the Banco de España organised the high-level conference “Climate Risk and Sustainable Finance: Bridging Policy, Research and Practice”, together with the Network for Greening the Financial System, the Centre for Economic Transition Expertise and the Transition Pathway Initiative Centre at the London School of Economics. Many of the contributions presented at the conference have been brought together in Issue 33 of Papeles de Energía. This Banco de España publication brings together these contributions, offering different perspectives on the key challenges posed by climate change and the transition for the economy and the financial system.
