This study presents an optimisation methodology for achieving net-zero buildings by combining passive retrofits, active systems, and renewable integration, applied to a UK office building case. It frames how to select and sequence retrofit measures cost-effectively along a building's decarbonization pathway. Useful for planning energy-efficiency upgrades of existing building stock.
