This study evaluates solar and wind potential in Santander, Colombia, for green hydrogen production via Power-to-X systems, analyzing technical and economic feasibility. Three configurations (solar, wind, hybrid) were assessed using CAPEX, OPEX, and levelized cost of hydrogen (LCOH). The wind scenario achieved the lowest LCOH at 9 USD/kg, but none reached the competitive range of 3-6 USD/kg, concluding that capital cost reductions are needed for competitiveness.

📄 Abstract(原文)
; Pregrado ; Ingeniero Mecánico ; This study evaluated the solar and wind energy potential of the Santander department for green hydrogen production through Power-to-X (PtX) systems, assessing its technical and economic feasibility as an alternative for the energy transition.
