English

This paper proposes an integrated change management and digital transformation framework to help large organizations overcome barriers (fragmented governance, legacy systems, workforce gaps, resistance) when scaling renewable energy, efficiency, storage, electrification, and smart metering. It integrates six iterative phases—from organizational diagnosis to institutionalization—supported by governance, stakeholder engagement, digital energy architecture, and performance measurement. It argues sustainable energy adoption should be treated as an enterprise-wide socio-technical transformation, not a stand-alone technology deployment.

In the global GX context

As global disclosure regimes (ISSB, CSRD, TCFD) push companies from target-setting to implementation, this paper addresses the organizational and digital capabilities needed to actually deploy sustainable energy technologies enterprise-wide. It adds a change-management lens to the transition finance and decarbonization literature, though it lacks empirical validation or country-specific policy analysis.

📄 Abstract(原文)

Large organizations are increasingly adopting renewable energy, energy-efficiency systems, energy storage, electrification, smart metering, and digital energy-management technologies. However, enterprise-wide implementation is often constrained by fragmented governance, legacy systems, inadequate digital infrastructure, workforce limitations, organizational resistance, and weak alignment between sustainability goals and operational priorities. This study developed an Integrated Change Management and Digital Transformation Framework to support coordinated adoption and scaling of sustainable energy technologies across large organizations. The framework integrates six iterative phases: organizational diagnosis, strategic alignment, collaborative solution design, pilot implementation, enterprise scaling, and institutionalization with continuous optimization. These phases are supported by governance, stakeholder engagement, workforce development, digital energy architecture, technology prioritization, risk and readiness assessment, performance measurement, and benefits realization. The findings show that sustainable energy adoption should be treated as an enterprise-wide socio-technical transformation rather than as a stand-alone technology deployment. Effective implementation requires the coordinated management of organizational readiness, leadership, workforce capability, digital integration, stakeholder participation, regulatory requirements, and performance monitoring. The framework therefore provides a structured basis for selecting technologies, assessing readiness, managing implementation risks, scaling successful initiatives, and monitoring operational, financial, energy, and environmental outcomes. It also supports continuous adaptation as organizational conditions, technology maturity, resource availability, and regulatory requirements change.
