📄 Abstract(原文)
ABSTRACT Lighting plays a vital role in the quality of indoor environments and needs to be designed sustainably. As the building sector intensifies efforts to reduce carbon emissions, integrated lighting solutions, including both electric and daylighting systems, are essential for achieving ambitious decarbonisation targets while maintaining or enhancing occupant comfort and well-being. Building on the framework of the IEA SHC Task 70 / EBC Annex 90, Low Carbon, High-Comfort Integrated Lighting, this article presents ten critical questions that explore the challenges and opportunities of decarbonising lighting in buildings. The questions concern the decarbonisation potential across different building typologies and countries, the alignment between human-centric lighting requirements and carbon reduction goals, and the integration of emerging technologies, digitalisation, and advanced simulation tools. Particular focus is placed on the carbon balance of electric and daylighting systems, the effectiveness of current standards and the potential of AI- and IoT-based controls to deliver scalable, low-carbon, high-comfort (LCHC) lighting solutions. The article emphasises the importance of bridging the gap between research and practice, particularly regarding the social and environmental aspects of sustainable lighting, which are frequently overshadowed by economic considerations. The questions and their answers aim to stimulate future research, policy, and practice towards sustainable LCHC-integrated lighting strategies that support decarbonisation and human well-being in the built environment.
