📄 Abstract(原文)

The global transition towards sustainable development faces critical policy dilemmas due to industrial developments coupled with natural resources, yet severe environmental and ecological challenges require urgent policy actions to ensure net-zero and decarbonization goals. Within the parameters of contemporary environmental and policy challenges, the current study examines how fiscal deficit, renewable energy investments, production capacity index, climate mitigation technologies, economic growth and urbanization influence natural resources and mineral market rents in top-10 resource exporting economies. The current study relies on a robust econometric investigation to report that renewable energy investments, production capacity index and environmental technologies are key to natural and mineral resources efficiency. In contrast, fiscal deficit, economic growth and urbanization hamper resource efficiency. Our analytical and theoretical investigation allows us to propose that integrated fiscal, technological and renewable energy investment policy benchmarks through robust institutional reforms remain key to natural and mineral resource efficiency.
