Issues of adaptation of international standards of "green" construction to the climatic and economic conditions of the Kyrgyz Republic. The country's regulatory framework in the field of energy efficiency of buildings is analyzed, including the Law "On the Energy Efficiency of Buildings" and by-laws. Key climatic factors (sharply continental climate, seismic activity, high potential for renewable energy sources) and economic restrictions (housing structure, energy subsidies, material availability) were identified. Methodological approaches to assessing the economic efficiency of green projects have been proposed. Recommendations were formulated on the development of a national standard for "green" construction, improving the incentive system, developing human resources and raising public awareness.
