📄 Abstract(原文)
This review analyzed the strategic role of biomass-derived biofuels in Brazil's transition toward a low-carbon economy based on 45 scientific articles, technical reports, governmental publications, and legislation. The findings indicate that Brazil has potential for sustainable bioenergy development due to its abundant agricultural, forestry, industrial, and urban biomass resources, supported by consolidated public policies. While first-generation biofuels remain economically important, advanced biofuels produced from residual biomass, biogas, biomethane, microalgae, and integrated biorefineries offer significant opportunities for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting circular economy principles. Nevertheless, technological, economic, and infrastructural barriers still limit large-scale deployment. Overall, the Brazilian energy transition will require feedstock diversification, regionalized strategies, technological innovation, and integrated public policies to strengthen energy security and achieve long-term climate goals.
