English
This paper introduces the Transportation Climate Impact Temperature Score, a simplified formula converting transportation CO₂ emissions into a temperature contribution and a 1-100 score. Using constants from Pratt's FCC model, it offers a transparent tool for comparing emissions across transport modes, not a replacement for full climate models.

📝 gxceed 編集解説 — Why this matters
In the global GX context
Globally, transport accounts for a significant share of emissions, and this paper offers a simple communication tool for linking CO₂ to temperature rise. While not a formal disclosure metric, it could complement TCFD/ISSB reporting by making climate impact more tangible for stakeholders.

📄 Abstract(原文)
The transportation sector continues to release large amounts of carbon dioxide, which significantly contribute to climate change and global temperature rise. Existing transportation labels commonly report fuel use, miles per gallon, grams of CO₂ per passenger-kilometer, or grams per ton-kilometer. Although these measurements are useful, they do not directly explain how transportation emissions affect global temperature. The main objective of this paper is to introduce the Transportation Climate Impact Temperature Score, a simplified formula that converts transportation CO₂ emissions, measured in metric tons, into a formal Sentinel climate temperature contribution and a score from 1 to 100. The method uses constants from Pratt’s FCC model, including an (Rg) value of 2.232°C and an annual industrial CO₂ growth factor of 1.0202. The score can be applied to the entire transportation sector, including cars, aircraft, ships, trucks, buses, and trains, as long as their CO₂ emissions are known. This method is not intended to replace complete climate models. Instead, it provides a transparent and understandable tool for comparing transportation emissions through a temperature-linked result.
