English
This conceptual article examines how decarbonization, technological change, and the low-carbon transition are reshaping the sources of business competitiveness. It argues that carbon and energy efficiency, access to clean energy and green finance, low-carbon innovation, and supply-chain transparency are becoming new determinants of competitive advantage. It highlights geographic and investment asymmetries in renewables, carbon pricing, border regulation, and critical minerals, and proposes the concept of 'inclusive green competitiveness'.

In the global GX context
The paper speaks to the global debate on how CBAM, carbon pricing, and transition finance reshape competitiveness and value chains, framing inclusiveness as a condition for the transition's durability. It offers conceptual framing rather than new empirical evidence for TCFD/ISSB/CSRD disclosure scholarship.

📄 Abstract(原文)
The article examines the green transformation of global business in the context of accelerating decarbonization, technological change, and the transition towards sustainable development. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the relationship between decarbonization, business competitiveness, and inclusiveness, as well as to identify the key changes in the sources of competitive advantage caused by the global low-carbon transition. The study analyzes current trends in renewable energy development, clean energy investment, carbon pricing, carbon border regulation, low-carbon technologies, and critical mineral markets. Particular attention is paid to the impact of these processes on corporate strategies, investment decisions, production costs, market access, and the transformation of global value chains. It is established that the green transition is gradually changing the traditional determinants of business competitiveness. Along with productivity, production scale, resource costs, and technological capabilities, carbon and energy efficiency, access to clean energy and green finance, low-carbon innovation, circular business models, supply chain transparency, and compliance with environmental requirements are becoming increasingly important. At the same time, the study demonstrates that the green transformation is characterized by significant geographical, technological, and investment asymmetries. The concentration of renewable energy capacity, green investment, critical mineral processing, and technological capabilities in a limited number of countries and companies creates unequal opportunities for participation in the low-carbon transition and may deepen existing structural disparities in the global economy. The scientific contribution of the study lies in substantiating an integrated approach to the green transformation of global business based on the interrelationship between decarbonization, competitiveness, and inclusiveness. The concept of “inclusive green competitiveness” is proposed to describe the ability of businesses and economic systems to generate sustainable competitive advantages through decarbonization, resource efficiency, green innovation, and technological modernization while simultaneously expanding access to the economic, investment, and technological opportunities created by the green transition and preventing the excessive concentration of its costs and risks among less competitive actors, countries, and social groups. It is concluded that inclusiveness should be considered not only as a social outcome of the green transition but also as an important condition for its long-term economic sustainability. The results of the study can be used to improve corporate strategies and policy approaches aimed at combining decarbonization with competitiveness and inclusive sustainable development.
