📄 Abstract(原文)

Global attention is shifting to climate change, with carbon neutrality acting as a global development strategy since the Paris Agreement to emphasize the strict control and mitigation of emissions. This phenomenon allows the international community to explore carbon neutrality from different disciplines. The unavailability of a cross-database bibliometric perspective on carbon neutrality since Paris Agreement adoption created a wide opportunity to explore new knowledge. Therefore, this study aimed to present a comprehensive visualization and analysis of carbon neutrality research from the Scopus database. For acquiring data, we use the PRISMA Protocol by considering factors such as search period, document type and source, language, and keywords. This led to 1,017 data samples processed using VOS viewer and R-tools. The results showed that publication trends, recent analyses, journals, authors, institutions, and countries contributed the most to carbon neutrality research. We explore the areas and topics under investigation and conclude future research opportunities through thematic analysis, including historical development process, research hotspots, and research frontiers. We identified carbon neutrality, renewable energy, green innovation, green hydrogen, and electric vehicles as emerging areas that need more attention. Our study is useful for academics and policymakers to prioritize their research and policy to achieve carbon neutrality.
