English
This paper examines how management practices impact GHG emissions in the chemical industry. Semi-structured interviews reveal that business strategy, top management commitment, cross-functional engagement, and supply chain management indirectly influence emissions. Moderating factors such as customer pressure, cost of greener products, financial benefits, and workforce competencies are identified. A conceptual model summarizes the findings.

📄 Abstract(原文)
This article provides insights on how management practices impact greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in the chemical industry. Semi-structured interview results revealed that management practices such as business strategy, top management commitment, cross-functional employee engagement, functional units tasked with GHG reduction and supply chain management influence GHG emissions indirectly through other factors. The study aims to investigate interlinkages between these factors, while also identifying moderating factors such as pressure from customers, the cost of greener produced products, financial benefits, nuances of production processes and workforce competencies. These findings highlight the complexity of elements affecting GHG emission reduction prioritization and implementation in the chemical industry companies. A conceptual model is presented to summarize the findings.
