This study examines the asymmetric impact of green finance on greenhouse gas emissions across the top ten green bond issuing countries. Using panel data and non-linear methods, it reveals that green finance reduces emissions more effectively in countries with higher initial emissions or stronger financial development. The findings highlight the importance of tailored green finance policies.
